Teaching practice
Your practice clinic Fiss
Practical. Contemporary. Interdisciplinary.
At FISSMED, medical students and young doctors receive training based on current scientific knowledge and benefit from the extensive experience of our physicians.
Teaching practice
Since 2000, the FISSMED practice clinic has been training students and junior doctors – both practically and theoretically – on behalf of the Austrian Ministry of Health. The goal is to teach young physicians how to interact appropriately with sick and injured individuals while providing high-level, practice-oriented knowledge.
With deep medical expertise, extensive practical experience, and a healthy sense of humour, the team led by Dr. med. univ. Christoph Stengg supports trainees with advice and hands-on assistance.

Highly trained
In addition to medical knowledge, trainees learn the correct way to interact with sick or injured individuals.
Extensive medical training
Anamnesis, diagnosis and therapy - under the guidance of Dr. med. univ. Christoph Stengg, young doctors, prospective qualified health and nursing professionals and trainees in medical assistant professions learn the most important measures in patient care. A great benefit for the trainees is the wide range of clinical pictures of the local and international patients.
In addition, the trainees have the opportunity to get to know the diagnostic devices (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory, ...) available in the Fiss clinic and to evaluate and correctly interpret the findings obtained with them.
