As one of the first general medical practices in Europe, we have had digital X-ray image processing right from the start and are therefore able to achieve optimal image quality with significantly reduced radiation exposure. In addition, FISSMED has a powerful computer tomograph (CT) and an ultrasound device for precise and rapid diagnosis of bone, vascular and soft tissue injuries as well as stone diseases or injuries to the brain.
The X-ray and CT images can be transmitted to the doctors treating our patients via a telemedical data line. Of course, our patients also receive the images on a CD.
All doctors at FISSMED regularly complete training and further education in the use of X-rays in the medical field. Dr. Christoph Stengg is the radiation protection officer for X-ray diagnostics.
OPEN MRI
Our open MRI offers exceptional space and a pleasant examination environment – ideal for people with claustrophobia or patients who avoid traditional tube-style MRI machines. As the first facility in Austria, we use an open MRI system with AI-assisted image processing. The results: more precise images, shorter examination times, and maximum comfort.
Computed Tomography (CT)
With our high-performance CT scanner, we can visualise internal organs, bones, vessels, and soft tissues in great detail within minutes. This is especially important for accidents, acute symptoms, or unclear findings. Modern technology ensures the lowest radiation exposure possible.
Digital X-ray
Digital X-ray allows fast and reliable imaging of bones and joints – for injuries, degenerative changes, or misalignments. Our digital system offers high image quality with reduced radiation exposure and enables quick forwarding of images to your treating physicians.
