The medical certificate of fitness, officially a pilot's medical certificate, is a document issued by an aeromedical examiner (AME - Aeromedical Examiner) on behalf of ACG (Austrocontrol). This document confirms the medical fitness of a pilot or applicant.
Dr. med. univ. Christoph Stengg is qualified to carry out medical examinations for class 1 (commercial pilots), class 2 (private pilots), CC (cabin crew) and LAPL (leisure aircraft pilot licence).
We carry out all aeromedical examinations on site - with the exception of the first class 1 examination:
- Medical examinations class 1: revalidation and renewal
- Medical examinations class 2: initial issuance, revalidation and renewal
- LAPL: initial issuance, revalidation and renewal
- CC: initial issuance, revalidation and renewal
To ensure that the medical examinations run smoothly, we ask that you bring the following documents with you to the examination:
- Old Medical (original)
- Pilot license (if you have one)
- Official identification
- Relevant current diagnostic findings (internist, ophthalmologist, etc.)
Please note the 45-day interval!
