Emergency medicine

At FISSMED, we also treat seriously injured patients and internal emergencies in our shock room. Using a range of intensive care equipment, we provide initial treatment and stabilize patients and organize the fastest possible onward transport to the appropriate destination hospital. Our team includes experienced emergency doctors and emergency paramedics who are able to deal with all emergencies - from birth to resuscitation. Our top priority is to stabilize the patient's condition as quickly as possible, avoid consequential damage and ensure a speedy recovery.

With our emergency doctor team, we also operate our own NEF (emergency doctor emergency vehicle), which is integrated into the Tyrolean emergency doctor system as a “first responder”.
